Is there a Cure for Herpes

There is no known cure for herpes.

But by altering your lifestyle for the better, you can help to considerably reduce the severity, frequency, and length of herpes outbreaks, even if you can't get rid of them completely.

Proper
diet, rest and exercise can help boost your immune system, which in turn make you healthier, stronger and less likely to have a recurrence of your herpes virus.

Diet
By managing what you eat, eating the right foods and being aware of dietary considerations, you can help minimize the chances of recurring
herpes outbreaks.

The following are some foods you should eat and foods you should avoid:

Avoid or reduce foods that are rich in arginine. Some foods that are high in arginine include chocolate, peanuts, seeds, almonds, and other nuts. Arginine is suggested to stimulate HSV replication.

Eat foods that are rich in
lysine. Lysine was shown to provoke the viral growth-promoting action of arginine. Foods high in lysine include most vegetables, fish, legumes, turkey, and chicken.
Rest
Lack of proper sleep has been noted as a known trigger for herpes outbreaks. Simply going to bed a bit earlier each night can be a very affective form of herpes treatment.
Exercise
Simply putting aside around twenty minutes a day for exercise can make a big difference in the suffering with your herpes infections, and can be an affective form of herpes treatment as well.

Research has been conducted on Gigartina 4 in treating the Herpes Simplex Virus revealing that it stimulates an immune response that fights the virus and keeps it at bay.
